Recently, an art exhibition has been opened in the premises of the Lviv National Opera and the Solomiya Krushelnytska Music and Memorial Museum in the framework of the international art project "SOLOMIYA", dedicated to the 145th anniversary of the birth of this outstanding opera singer of the end of the 19th – the first quarter of the 20th century.
The exhibition represents 28 paintings created by famous Ukrainian artists united by one aim: to recreate the image of our great countrywoman by means of art, to paint beautiful places of Ukraine associated with Solomiya Krushelnytska, whose phenomenon was defined by the world musicologists on a level with such grandees as Battistini, Caruso, Titus Ruffo and Shaliapin.
This exhibition was held with the support of not indifferent patrons, among which was Eurocon.
